better life or so they thought. My late dad who survived Auschwitz and who fought in the war of liberation 48-49 left for Canada in 1952. He died there in 2006. Deep down inside he regretted that move. His only grandchildren live in Israel today. My father always said..the one factor that will keep the Jew a Jew is the goy. The goy will never let the Jew forget that. Those who leave Israel end up being lost, no matter what kind of yarmulka you put on it. The only place and the only future for the Jew is in Israel.

Your father did not fight for nothing since your kids came back to Israel and to their Jewish roots The Israeli pioneers were children of orthodox Jews and inherited their love for Israel.
4. Hearts in Israel, kids are lost

I have seen to many Israelis who go to US to live. They love Israel and long to return, but they put their kids in the US public school because it is free and their kids grow up as lost souls with no connection to Israel and no connection to being Jewish. A total mess for Yordim.
5. Israeli living abroad - a very good thing
Tova ,   Canada   (04.13.16)
Israel is a Jewish Country - GOD made that promise. Jews living outside of Israel like any nationality, live in every country on this earth. The only thing that is important that Jews born outside of Israel - should register in the IDF because no Jew is safe outside of Israel. It is amazing living in Canada the number of Jews who never been in Israel - they don't realize how they have denied their children and grandchildren the history and future of their people.
