1. Images of Starvatioon & Theft
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (04.22.16)
The images that come from the slow starvation and from the protests of the stolen equipment likely will not play in Peoria or even in Poughkeepsie. Israel conquered the area in 1967. The quaries predate the conquest. This is just another effort to drive Palestinians to despair and into the sea. They should stay and let the world watch them starve, as is the Israeli intent.
2. Every non-violent step taken by Israel

Is justifiable to convince the Pals to a two-state solution, based on mutual recognition, division of Judea and Samaria between the 2 nations, and secure borders for the Jewish state.

4. All Jerusalem stone comes from these quarries...
Jew-C ,   JewLandia (Israel)   (04.22.16)
this is actually ridiculous and hypocritical. By Israeli law all buildings in Jerusalem must be covered in Jerusalem Stone (Limestone) but all of the legal Jewish owned quarries have exhausted their supply. So for quite a number of years Jerusalem stone is quarried in the Palestinian Authority. We have situations where the same quarry has proved stone for the Mukata (the Palestinian Authority Government Building) and the Jerusalem Municipality Building (amongst many many other new buildings in Jerusalem) To close a quarry is ridiculous...instead the quarry should be brought up to standard and given the proper permits to ensure that it is properly developed AND to ensure that everyone's needs are met.
5. to #4: ridiculous or not

if you noticed, the town is in area a, but the quarry is in area c. so, in addition to operating without a license, and without proper safety measures for their workers, they are also quarrying someone else's land, and on a larger scale, stealing land that according to the oslo agreements, is under israeli jurisdiction. why should israel keep turning a blind eye to an operation that is illegal on every possible level? the hills are full of stone.
