The definition of apartheid is easy to understand. it is a system whereby discrimination is used to marginaized a race, tribe, religion and/or ethnic group. it can take the form of restricted methods on travel such as roads for a special class, not being able to rent or purchase housing or land, special IDs, denial of food, water, sanitation and heathcare given to others in the population, seizure of land or farm for use by a special class, imprisonment without legal recourse and any number of thing to deny the human rights of a portion of the population. Israel does all those things on the West Bank and does some of those things to Israeli Palestinians.
