if the Israel government does not act responsibly and provide electricity to the Gaza. It is absolute insanity on the part of the government. They show no concern for the people of Israel. Let Yoram Shefer swim in the polluted waters of Ashkelon.
2. Gaza sewage

To be interested in Gaza sewage problem? Hamas Gaza attack tunnels aimed to invade Israel and kill Jewish civilians did not get a smidgen of coverage that sewage did? To build those Hamas used Israel supplied 160.000 tones of cement allocated to rebuild destroyed structures in Gaza. Hamas stole the cement, but Hamas is also responsible as government of Gaza sewage. Is Hamas can build cemented attack tunnels why not use the talent to build a sewage system? Not discussed are those killed while digging these tunnels, a war crime. 160 children died as well as scores of adults. These are documented facts that Fares Akram will not dare to describe. Hamas has a children army (see research by a Palestinian rights group "Children army of Hamas") which was ready to die digging attack tunnels and serving as human shields. Sewage is a minor problem in Gaza

During the early seventies of the last Century ( I was the City Engineer of Gaza ) , it was an Israeli Consulting Firm ( Tahal) , who was responsible on submitting the Gaza master plan for water and sewage , but they missed the number of population of today!! After Osla , president Arafat met with the Israeli minister of Agriculture in Gaza who advised Arafat to construct the Sewage Treatment Plants at the East of Gaza , where Israel was ready to buy and take the raw untreated sewage to be treated by Israel , and then used for irrigation in Israel . Why not to implement that for the first project in Northern Gaza as a pilot one !!!
