It is greatly to Israel's credit that you have someone in the general's position who publicly makes the point that he does. In most countries that would not happen. Gen. the criticism of gen. yair golan is just and fair. there is no attempt to criticise tzahal as a whole. it is true that senior officers in particular need to teach their men values and conscience. it is the particular words and speech of gen. golan that are being criticised, and for just reasons.
