Totaly the wrong descision, the Israeli public deserves better than a common.criminal that heads a religious cult. The man.when in.a position.of trust as a MK.decided to steal public funds to line his pockets and then lied in court. There is nothing kosher about Deri as i am sure its just a matter of time his criminal activity will become apparent to.all. just goes to.show the level of morality within the goverment.

as to have a convinced felon return to the scene of crime (EVEN if he was innocent & pure as NY-snow!) then: we truly deserve our "Fate". Stupid pricks , all of us!

We'll have soon some "mafionair" buying enough votes and becoming justice minister too. Why not.

It has nothing to do with the law. It has everything to with you and me and all the citizens of Israel. We are fools that we allow the man to stand for office, we are fools that we allow him to take office, we are fools again that we accept such a decision by the court. Only public opinion can change things, Deri is in office because we want him in office, if we really did not want him in office we would do something about it. Qui tacet consentire videtur. Silence is consent.

I, for one, would ashamed to admit that my country's Interior Minister is an ex-crook. His place belongs next to Katsav.
