Should be extended to other disputes, such as tenant/landlord, builder/owner/ tax authority etc.. why waste the courts time

it just forces couples to endure their mutual hatreds for each other for even longer periods of time... and it will lead to even higher levels of domestic violence. the government motives on this, as stated in this article, are functionally falacious.
