Zola   (05.19.16)
Obviously planned but seeming chaotic Herzog could not bring Labour with him and Liberman whose lacks clarity re economic issues and was never high in the IDF is a rough choice even crude choice .
2. If you think hes bad wait to you meet our interior minister
Shimi   (05.19.16)
An ex con, what served jail time for robbing public funds and lining his own pockets and heads a religious cult that openly discourages its flock of brainless sheep not to serve in the IDF.
3. If this is a 'political bazaar'.....
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (05.19.16)
......Egypt has been having a years long 'political fire sale'. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
4. Political bazaar
Philip ,   Israel   (05.19.16)
Well Mr President, some of us here are also not overjoyed with the result, nor with its ramifications.
5. A success story.
Gabe ,   Canada   (05.19.16)
The Egyptian peace process with the Muslim Brotherhood is a example to follow.
6. Egypt and France have a new worry
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (05.19.16)
the airline terror attack that only underlines the fact you can't trust any so called peace talks. Egypt and France have the same problem that began with Israel's enemies attacking Israel and is now world wide, Islamic terror.

I really hope and pray that Israelis take presidents Sisi's hand in peace. He is a decent man that's really trying to make a real change even in the school books he's trying to change the national attitude towards Israel. Your population has to put pressure on the government to make this happen.
8. Egypt Furious Or Ynet is furious
Nachman   (05.19.16)
Sisi is smarter than this. Compare this to Israel furious that Sis overthrew Morsi an elected official. Would Sisi not laugh at foreigners mixing in their internal politics??? Same is here.
9. blair kerry and herzog
manny   (05.19.16)
these 3 conspired to change the govt by artificially inserting the wimp herzog to bring in john kerry policies. kerry, the author of the rotten iran deal that only harms israel continues with his subterfuge because bibi refuses to tell him to shove off. fortunately labour mks blocked the deal by some saying they would not join the govt.even bibi realized he had been had by inflated eygptian statements that promised nothing, blair doing his part and herzog the obnoxious looking for a free ride into power. it almost worked. however, whatever the reason, bibi saw the light and his deicsion to bring in lieberman is ok because defense frankly under barak and now yaalon has not done the job enough other than holding operations. yaalon still has generals who can advise him. and yaalon knows how to fight which peres, olmert, even bibi were not good at. so instincts of fighting will come in handy. let us see what happens. as for egypt, it should stick to its own affairs and not get involved in israeli politics. kerry can go to hell.
10. Bazaar
carlos ,   San Diego CA U.S.A.   (05.19.16)
This statement by Al Sissi is an unacceptable interference in a sovereign nation. If you are going to negotiate with others you cannot tell them what to do internally. Israel should strongly protest this.
11. Only YNET is "Furious" cant fool us anymore
AnotherYnetTantrum ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.19.16)
Give us the public a break no one believes your hysterical headlines anymore
12. again
BAB ,   jerusalem   (05.19.16)
Do you get more points for surprising constituent and foreign leaders? It turns out that an internal political decision has, unfortunately, resulted in one more foreign leader holding back on trusting our Prime Minister. After Bibi completes his terms, I suggest he stay away from used car sales. Welcome to Netanyahu politics.
13. thi is what happens when outside powers try to meddle
C   (05.19.16)
the latest effort by blair, kerry, france, the arabs, is a blatant interference in the internal affairs of the sovereign jewish state off israel. the composition of the israeli government is strictly an internal matter to israel. egypt was not particularly pleased when obama ordered mubarak to resign with the result of putting the muslim brotherhood in power. if the nations think that they can side line netanyahu and make peace with herzog, they are very mistaken.
14. Egypt has far more pressing matters to deal with
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.19.16)
It is hard to believe Egyptian officials are "furious" about one Israeli politician replacing another. Egypt has far more pressing matters to deal with.
15. This move by Bibi is so stupid
TC ,   USA/az   (05.19.16)
Egyptian initiative was designed to sideline the French initiative which Bibi hates so much. Well, the French initiative is now on the table, front and center with no alternate peace process waiting in the wings, it will now go full speed ahead with no Israeli participation or input.
16. Pres Sisi is a great guy BUT its none of his/ Egypts busines
Alan ,   SA   (05.20.16)
17. EGYPTIAN OR FRENCH INITIATIVE ARE JUST USELESS
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (05.20.16)
UNLESS Egypt agrees to take Gaza back and Jordan deos teh same to WB, then everythign else is useless to even listen to. Israel needs a peace partner that can really govern and make real peace. By giving land back to bunch of tribal leaders nothing will be solved. Gaza was released to a cult tribe called Hamas. it shoudl have been returned to a real soveirgn state. The same gores for WB. it needs to go to Jordan and be rueld and policed by Jordanians. There are no pece partners besode these guys.
18. Netanyahu and his "forked tongue"
(05.20.16)
Netanyahu does not have any intension of making the meeting quite a success he always brings someone into his government just before a meeting to do his dirty work - remember that miserable spokesman damming President Obama just before Netanyahu's trip to the USA?! Did Natanyahu fire him - no!
19. Re:14 - Indeed they do
Christy ,   Boston, US   (05.20.16)
Egyptian officials should spend more time being concerned with ensuring their tourism industry doesn't take a severe nose-dive. I visit some tourist blogs and folks aren't too keen on Egypt due to perceived threats from ISIS and not much confidence in Egyptian security preventing attacks. I feel bad for Egyptians who depend on tourism to feed their families.
