1. Muslims wouldn't divide Mecca. We won't divide Jerusalem!
Chaim , |

Muslims would never divide Mecca. Catholics would never divide Vatican City. We will never divide Jerusalem.
Forget the rationalizations. The reason Jerusalem will never be divided is because it is ours. End of discussion!

2. Division of Jerusalem in context of a two state solution
is just symbolic, although it evokes passions for drama queens on both sides. Everything else will continue as usual.

While no one should be precluded
from making an honest living ,the
current situation where the Arabs
of East Jerusalem who make no mistake despite the sweet talk in the article overwhelmingly hate us , that
they literally could shut down our
transportation tourism etc etc etc
this is totally unacceptable and it
doesn't add up with the poverty
statistics if so many are gainfully
employed, there are certain neighborhoods that are poor but
also in the Jewish sector Katamon
Shmuel Hanavi Pat . An example
of their power over us when rumons
spread a bus driver was found hanged and that Jews did it ALL
the Arab bus drivers went on a two
day strike causing absolute chaos
This needs rectifying AND NOW !!

4. "East Jerusalem will be The State of Palestine capital very
soon." Yippee! Bumpkin Neale has made yet another prediction to add to his 0% success rate. Last year according to Neale, the UNSC was going to force a "palestinian" state on Israel with the help of Oblabla. Where is the "palestinian" state? Where it always has been and always will be...NOWHERE! But Bumpkin Neale's predictions are always entertaining to read.

5. "If grabbing others lands is accepted by the world because
God said so, then other states can do the same." Guess what, bumpkin, they already have. And good thing too, otherwise you wouldn't have a U.S. of A to leech off of.

I agree with you, Chaim. While there is a case for saying that Jerusalem is to a large degree already divided the aim should be for a united Jerusalem. It is certainly 'ours' - meaning it belongs both to Israeli Jews and to Palestinian Arabs. A united city shared by two states. As you say, end of discussion.

There are no jews in Mecca, as well as in whole Saudi Arabia. They are forbidden, as well as in Jordan, West Bank, Gaza. So, the sovereignty of Mecca, Medina, Riyhad, etc. is not shared. So, why should Israel share its sovereignty over Jerusalem with anyone, be it arabs, britons, french, etc.? End of discussion.

8. Herzl's Solution

Why not try Herzl's Solution for Jerusalem"?
See: Herzl's Diaries, 7 May 1896
"... We shall exterritorialize Jerusalem, so that it will belong to nobody and yet everybody; and with it the Holy Places, which will become a joint possiession of all Believers - a great condominium of culture and morality."
It may be worth trying...
