that it was heat wave temperatures.Are they not trained to read a thermometer?Did they make sure the kids had adequate water and shady breaks? My sympathy to her family and friends back home in the USA.

The problem with these camps are inadequate training of counselorsin spotting the warning signs of hypothermia, in addition to the counselors not being old enough themselves,counselors in these types of camps should at the very minimum be after army age,that way they are mature enough to make the right call when it comes to the safety of campers.
