Barnea's"opinion"=0 ,   Jerusalem   (06.18.16)
Barnea your "opinion" is like them and you all are "yesterday's news" Barnea the only people who will listen to you now are in a Beit Avot where you belong
2. Their Back the 3 Stooges Barak Ayalon Herzog

3. So I guess I'm the only one not worried with this government
barbara ,   Haifa   (06.18.16)

4. Jewish opinion -no one yet better
Zola   (06.18.16)
From the distance the view is the Jewish people don't see anyone better . and more important they don't see the situation has changed much? The Jews have conquered territory in a war in which the Arab masses cried genocide and the Jews want to keep the land they have conquered . The agree to Arab autonomy if they behave and many favour slow emigration of Arabs to other states with help for those who emigrate . Others are not sure . The large population means consumption of goods and high employment and hard work . The youth go to the army and the Jews are armed a strong military force seventy five years after the Shoah. The Deportations from Warsaw started in July 1942 and hundreds of thousands of Jews were gassed from Warsaw in weeks . Now the Jews have Thermonuclear weapons a brilliant airforce and well armed army and elite units half made up of Shomer Shabbat Jewish youth the other half courageous secular traditional. To cede land particularly after Gaza will be well nigh impossible the civil disorder will be impossible to control. In Peace talks the Palestinian leaders will not accept Demilitirization and a Jewish army in the Jordan Valley for Decades to be replaced never and in a big chunk of the area. Nor will they be able to give up Right of Return of Arab refugees and their descendants from the 1948 IsraeliArab war A Yaalon -Barak -Gantz -Lapid party in coalition will not be able to deliver much more to the Arabs without vociferous backlash than could Netanyahu - Bennett- Liberman -Erdad . They are more amicable and ideologically centred however .
5. "why did Barak as a prime minister establish settlements
Moshe ,   Israel   (06.18.16)
6. As long as Barnea is worried I'm happy & content!
(06.18.16)
7. Barnea owns Ynet?
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (06.18.16)
I have yet to see some one like his negativity - does he have a financial stake in Ynet???
8. Leftists are very worried they'll never govern Israel again
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.18.16)
Every year Bibi is in power, leftists get more and more worried they will never govern Israel again in the foreseeable future. They are worried more and more people have realized leftists have never been right about a major issue. Which explain their increasingly desperate attacks on Bibi. Ultimately, Bibi will be replaced. But he will be replaced by someone more gutsy, patriotic and rightist. Not by a disastrous leftist.
9. Imbecile Barnea gives his two cents worth absolutely ZERO
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (06.19.16)
10. no fan of bibi, but barak, gantz and barnea totally wrong
jay   (06.18.16)
israel cannot afford to lose one war. the holocaust taught us that jews have to depend on themsel ves fully armed. barak offered to give up golan and most of west bank in return for what?? gantz is delusional and was ineffective as chief of staff. barnea suffered personal tragedy yet continues on like peres-delusional, weak and self detructive. israelis don't ant baarak, they don't want livni or herzog and they don't want gantz. end of story.
11. Emending my previous talkback
Moshe ,   Israel   (06.18.16)
The title should be "why did Barak as a prime minister establish settlements that he now seeks to dismantle;" It is worth that the author understands a practice in negotiations. To reach an agreement between the parties, every side should give up some of its chips. If Israel will confine its settlements building merely to the blocks it does not want to relinquish in any accord, it will have to violate this principle in peace talks, or not attain any pact. The latest Barak's diatribe on Netanyahu is probably politically motivated.
12. Why they are all wrong
Hayyim ,   Ra'anana ISRAEL   (06.18.16)
If Barak or Hertzog would ever come to power they would give away half of the country, which would result in two or three years, the end of the State of Israel. (Barak almost did so when he became prime minister) As long as Arab hatred and incitement exists there cannot be any give away of territory. Why the hell did we have to liberate Western Palestine in 1967? To give it away in 2016 or 2017?? Let these idiots shout as much as they like, the vast majority of this nation will not be fooled by them and certainly not by you Barnea
13. Barnea worried
IESKY ,   Centre Israel   (06.19.16)
Barnea is worried! What a surprise! He has been worried for the last 20 years or more - at least since Bibi's been around... Just think what may have been if you had been positive and optimistic in your attutude of the last 20 years! You would be feeling much better personally and as least would have made a positive contribution to the overall political health of the people. As it is, you have achieved nothing and had zero influence on anything. At least if you had shown some positive support, you would have felt you had contributed to the miraculous state of the country. Same applies to all your fellow anti-Bibi opinion writers...Sima Kadmon, Shimon Shiffer, etc.etc. Makes you sick to see him succeed!
14. Ynet is being dragged down by Barnea and Kadmon
Jake   (06.19.16)
just like "Haaretz" was dragged down by Amira Hass and Gideon Levy, the lowest-bottom feeders in the hierarchy of journalistic low-lifes. They reflect the sheer desperation of the leftist elite minority's inability to influence the course of events in Israel. They have lost influence, because no one believes their mendacious lies anymore.
15. Barak looking ever the badass with the new beard.
JVC ,   LA, USA   (06.19.16)
16. Barnea, ideology and gornisht
ted ,   tel aviv   (06.19.16)
it is interesting to note in the talk backs that most people do not like Barnea's opinions. I have noticed this more and more. I think he is so into the liberal ideology that he can not see the reality that is happening every day. I really don't know why Barnea is given carte banche to tout his mis-views on what politics should be.
17. Kudos to Ynet
Manny ,   Miami   (06.20.16)
I have never seen so many negative feedbacks about an article. I am surprised that Ynet prints them. I think Ynet deserves a word of praise for publishing readers' comments that seem to unanimously reject Mr. Barnea. On the other hand, I can not figure out why Ynet actually publishes Mr. Barnea's foolish words.
