1. Immigration to Israel
Non Jewish Immigrant ,   Israel   (06.19.16)
What about people like me? Non jews who immigrate to Israel for any reason? I have immigrated to Israel more than 10 years ago. As a Non Jew, I NEVER had any financial help or support from ANY governmental bodies. The government doesn't even count me in its statistics (even though I am a legal resident) Will this Alyah day be reserved for Jews only? When will Israel acknowledge that there IS another immigration (הגירה) than just Alyah?
2. Non Jewish migrants
Rami ,   Haifa, Israel   (06.19.16)
Actually, you are included in the non Jewish statistics. However there is room, I believe , for celebrating the non Jewish immigrants who have given much to the state
3. Jews: make aliyah to Israel, be declared goyim!
Orthodox convert ,   Israel   (06.19.16)
I came to Israel an impeccably documented Orthodox convert over 20 years ago. Then, a few years ago, the Haredim declared me unrecognized. Now waiting on the Supreme Court to recover from Haredim what I came with.
4. Do you resemble a Latino?
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (06.19.16)
If so, come to America via Mexico and receive illegal US benefits denied to both the legal US veterans and to the tax paying retired US people who've earned those same benefits.. the hard way. Meanwhile, stop your bitching, you decided to reside in Israel not the government.

There is a difference between alliyah and immigration. Allliyah is reserved for Jews who come under the Law of Return and they get financial benefits etc whilst traditional immigration is something that anybody can apply for but its not a legal right as they are not Jewish. You might think that its fair there are different rules for Jews and non Jews wanting to emigrate but thats the way it is. Instead of worrying about Alliyah Day or recognition of non Jewish immigrants and instead get on with life.

Don't worry about the haredim because most haredi at least do not believe in conversion so sadly will make trouble for converts. If the government is going to do some good with this Alliyah Day they need to do something about the Jewish Agency. When I came about 12 years ago the Jewish Agency took over a year to approve my alliyah and the kind of proof of Jewishness they were asking for was my childhood passports which was ridiculous. When I arrived they put me in a taxi at the airport to the merkaz kilt and were useless after that. I had a friend who came with Nefesh and they go all out to make clim welcome and after alliyah they still continue giving help so the Jewish Agency have alot to learn help clim before and after.
7. 2/ I wish you were right but
Non Jewish Immigrant ,   Israel (Haifa)   (06.19.16)
Israel counts in its statistics only non jews that ARE Israelis. I immigrated to Israel more than 10 years ago but I have no access to citizenship whatsoever BECAUSE Israel do NOT recognise people like as immigrants (Since there's no word for people like me) Here people keep asking me when did I make my "Aliya"... everytime I rephrase the question as הגרתי לישראל I get faces with rounded eyes because it's something completely unknown to people here. That's the point I want to underline here. Israel must stop the ghetto attitude and start looking at the world around
8. Leftist Media will attack and ridicule
PostZionistLikud ,   Jerusalem Israel   (06.20.16)
Prepare for the Leftist Israeli Post Zionist Media ( the ONLY major medias available to the suffering Jewish Public) to already making plans to attack it as racist and for the "comedy shows" to ridicule it, how our Arab Israeli "Citizens" are waiting for it and quite honestly with all the dominance of Post Zionist Culture in this country why would any normal Jew want to even come here ? One of the first shocks of any Oleh is that the State of Israel is POST ZIONIST and when you ask how that is possible when the Right has been in power so many years veteran Israelis stand bewildered
