1. I feel sorry for all LGBTQ soldiers in the IDF!
Moshino ,   Tel Aviv   (07.20.16)
If this is the IDF's final answer on this whole episode, I feel really sorry that we're taking not two or three, but a hundred years' worth of steps back. We have yet to hear at the very least an apology for the blunt and crass statements made in public and for the incitement against LGBTQ Jews who are Jewish no less and soldiers no less. A very sad day for the IDF, indeed.
2. What a train wreck!
Ben ,   Beer Sheva   (07.20.16)
This whole story is such a bad trip/movie. I have yet to hear one statement that could redeem him of his disparaging and dehumanizing statements, but I haven't.
3. IDF

"IDF's next chief rabbi praised despite controversy"...talk about cack handed and contradictory.
The so called rabbi comes out with nasty intolerant comments and then is praised for them..................only in the religious dominated Israel.
4. Incitement
jez ,   netanya   (07.20.16)
Our great leader speaks at great length about others incitement. Some estimates suggest gays make up about 8% of any population which is not far short of the number of Haredim in this country. The kind of statements made about gays by some of the ultra orthodox rabbis is incitement against this minority. It should stop and those in positions of influence who incite against any segment of our society should be removed from their posts and appropriately punished however talented they are.
5. How about a collective lawsuit against Mr. Levenstein?
Ben ,   Beer Sheva   (07.20.16)
He could certainly be sued for incitement and hate speech.
6. IDF Disgrace
Zvi ,   Toronto   (07.29.16)
The old boys club continue to fix everthing and the disfuctionality continue day and night
