How does this noble woman intend to reduce the real noise pollution? Does she reckon a few buskers cause the kind of noise pollution that causes the most damage? Here are the causes of the worst culprits:

Garbage disposal trucks, leaf blowers, municipal street cleaning trucks - huge racket and often in operation long before, or after, the permitted hours.

Vehicle horns probably have the greatest impact on residents. Our enthusiastic inventor could perhaps invent a way of re-educating the morons who use this as a means of conveying their frustration, anger and impatience every 3 seconds on the road? Perhaps she can invent some kind of dome that goes over every traffic light area in the country, covering a quarter kilometre radius. Better still, an invention for all suffering citizens to be able pelt the offending car with manure from a hundred meters away.

The rise and rise of motorbike use is now a scourge of racket on the roads. Quite apart from the many morons who believe that this is an extension of their genitals and that it proves their manhood, so that the bigger the engine and the more noise it makes, the more man they feel, there is no policing of these selfish lunatics whatsoever. I

Vehicle alarms and ridiculously noisy beeping remote car lock devices Apparently nobody knows that the former are now illegal and meant to be phased out completely by next year. The import of the latter should also be banned.

Sadly, there is no invention that puts a stop to selfishness and stupidity. Buskers are NOT the problem.

3. how about inventing mufflers for gardeners?
richard sherwin ,   herzliyah   (07.24.16)
we need inventions to muffle gardeners blowers, beach boom boxes, etc.

also noise pollution at public and private 'affairs' (weddings, bar/bat mitsvot, and other ear-agonies), etc. luckily the MKs solve the problem by not appearing in the Knesset. non-appearance isnt always a possible solution for invitees.

also some restaurants...

maybe portable mufflers for humanity?
