1. Non-apology not taken. Now the question is:
Ben ,   Beer Shev   (07.27.16)
when will he dismissed of his non-role of IDF's Chief Rabbi?
2. Rabbi Levinstein
Steve A ,   manchester   (07.27.16)
It is clear that the learned Rabbi should not be associated with the IDF. in any way. Just as the nazis did not distinguish between Orthodox or secular Jews ,the terrorists are quite happy to kill any Jews gay or not.Rabbi Levinstein does not seem to understand that .
3. clarification's ok; deviant language isnt.
richard sherwin ,   herzliyah   (07.28.16)
the rabbi's point is valid. the IDF is not in the business of determining who's married, or what a soldier's sexuality is -- tho it IS in the business of stopping ALL forms of sexual harassment and exploitation within the IDF. what's still not ok is the labelling gays as 'deviants' which means more than simply 'not the average, median, mean, or norm' statistically in Israel or judaisms. for haredim, religious zionists, are minorities in israel still, and that makes them as 'deviant' as gays... and i hope no one is calling them deviants... at least in public.
