1. Accuracy
gregory   (08.22.16)
Standard error of the poll is 3%. To say that 52% constitute a majority is to admit that they don't know what they talk about.
2. One look at Gaza and one look at Israel
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (08.22.16)
and you can see why the natural preference is for Israel.
Liberty has endless benefits.
Israel is the benefit of liberty.
3. Palestinian definition of peace
Sam ,   Canada   (08.22.16)
The Palestinian definition of peace is the 1967 borders PLUS an unlimited right of return into Israel proper meaning no Jewish state. The desire for peace among leftist Jews makes them put words of peace into Palestinian mouths where they don't exist. They then pressure Western governments to pressure Israel for concessions for a peace that doesn't exist.
4. Almost everyone supports the Israeli Solution
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.22.16)
The poll is seriously biased. Almost nobody in Israel supports the evil Two State Final Solution today. The Israeli Solution (as depicted by journalist Caroline Glick) is the answer. This tiny land is ours. "Palestinians" are malevolent poseurs, who have done everything possible to prove they are Israel's and Jewry's mortal foes.
5. leiberman is not bibi
jeri   (08.22.16)
erodga, the turkish hamas leader raills at israel for hittting gaza. well bibi, the coward, would shake in his boots and tell the idf to limit its response to one hit on an empty sand dune as ehud barak used to do. but leiberman has a fighter's instinct and is not a coward like bibi. he hit hamas 50x and the next incident will see 200 retaliations and more and more until gaza is destroyed. lieberman looks at erdogan and tells him to go to hell while bibi sweats nervously oh my god.

bibi is now finished with israelis as is lapid and herzog. the future will see a coaltion of lieberman, bennett, what remains of likud, yaalon's party. herzog and bibi are both finished. israelis are tired of bibi's bluster and bs when in truth he is a coward to thebone with his rotten concession offer.
6. not seeking escalation
marcel   (08.22.16)
lerner of the idf and bibi should shut up about wanting quiet. let the arabs want quiet, not israel. netanyahu all know is yellow to the bone just like herzog who hides behind fences and runs to obama-please save up poor jews-pathetic. bibi is the twin of herzog which why they see eye to eye in their coward concesisons, nothing israel can offer can sastisfy arabs since they want israel out period, israel should do the same which is to oust the arabs from their homeland which is what lieberman and feiglin intend to do. the arabs will be moved out one way or another if feiglin takes power and he is coming. in the meantime, yaalon has no chance of being dfense minister after his anemic gaza campaigns. and bibi will not be pm after the next election. and you dumb israelis-voting for lapid is a vote for olmert because lapid is a security ignoramus who was fed olmert and tommy's 2 state garbage.
7. Our majority must consist of the Israeli govt! Nobody(except

lobotomized Osloists) buys into the Big Peace-Lie.
8. The SAME old questions and the SAME old answers
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (08.22.16)
And guess what
in 70 years they have not advanced Palestinian Statehood ONE MM

The option are simple

1. Unified Palestine in Gaza and West Bank
2. Independent Gaza and Independent West Bank
3. Gaza federated with Egypt and West Bank federated with Jordan
4. A unified and contiguous Palestine in an expanded Gaza created from land exchanges with Israel for West Bank and possible purchases of territory from Egyptian Sinai

The last straw poll in June 2016 indicated that over 40% of all Palestinians if presented and bankrolled by the international community would go for Option 4 a plan first advocated by Palestinians in 1999

So why are we treading over the same ground over and over again ad nauseum until it becomes a quagmire?

9. Global Security
Zola   (08.22.16)
With North Korea threatening to pre-emptively using nuclear weapons it's clear there are Psychos out there who are just plain crazy and they have the capacity to inflict enormous global damage .
Therefore it is better if The Holy Land is a base to defend the World against nuclear Armageddon .
This involves Ballistic Missiles and deep underground nuclear shelters with water food supplies to survive for a decade following a thermonuclear exchange .
This gives a chance of some human survival till 2100 .
10. What is a a 'small majority"?
(08.22.16)
11. #9 Zola re: Global security
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (08.23.16)
Funny you mention 'nuclear Armageddon' which is Greek word for Megiddo which is in Israel and you probably know the rest re: nuclear capacity.
There's no way to end the threat of a nuclear war but with the actual use of nuclear weapons.
Ask the residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Not pretty.
Israel could remove any intended target and that's the deterrent for other bad actors in the area even though their nuttier than fruit cakes they see themselves 'heroe's by murdering Jews.
12. 50% + 1 = clear majority
richard sherwin ,   herzliyah   (08.23.16)
the reason we dont trust each other is because we know each other too well. only the UN Eurocrats and State Dpt are ignorant. Arab countries dont give a damn about democracy anyway. palabs know if plo or hamas get a 'state' nothing good will come of it for them... we know ditto, for us. no 'hope' for '2 states = peace' anywhere, let alone in syria, iraq, turkey, or judea, samaria, or gaza. theyve been successfully educated from nursery to phd to jewhatred. but so what? even 49% or less, the palabs = palabs.
