What is he talking about? The Ethiopian community has a statistically low crime rate. I do believe in profiling, otherwise "every time you blink it's a brand new day", but to suspect Ethiopian-Israelis is sheer racism
For the one person that should be fighting against bigotry in the police to make a statement like this is shameful! While some groups of immigrants do (and did) resort to criminality, the Ethiopians are different and that should have been recognized by the police from the beginning. It is the Police Commissioner's job to see to it that the police are fully informed and educated sin such simple cultural differences!
it is no surprise that police ,lets say in europe or us,will be automatically more suspicious of israelis there, since statiscally they are more involved in crimes?
If a police man in europe or US would say such a thing he would be called an anti semite. So how we call our newly appointed police chief ?
