1. If they can't manage this grid, they can't manage a state.
David ,   Hartfor, USA   (09.14.16)
Very lever of Israel to allow the PA the opportunity to show the world that it can't manage anything, let alone their own state. The grid will go down, the 'Palestinians' will be in the dark, and they will have to accept the reality that, left on their own, they can't survive at all. This will be the final proof that Abbas has never had any desire for a state, only for power and wealth.

Time for the 'Palestinians' (aka everyday Arabs) to wake up and say they want a state of Palestine in the country of Israel. If the USA can have 50 states, Israel can have two. Let 'Palestine' elect its own legislature and governor, but it won't be able to pass any laws that conflict with Israel's national laws. They'll pay taxes, infrastructure will improve, and life will get better. Enough of Abbas's Jew-free Palestine. A two-state country of Israel is the way to bring peace.
2. Invest in massive "Palestinian" departure instead
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.14.16)
Instead of investing enormous sums of money making our mortal "Palestinian" foes comfortable in our land, so they can continue to menace us, Israel should invest in "Palestinian" departure instead. Help vast numbers of "Palestinians" leave our land and build better lives elsewhere.
3. I'm Confused...
Shira Z ,   J'slm   (09.14.16)
So, the Palestinians owe abt 2 billion NIS for electricity. We are forgiving 500 million NIS, and we have (had) 1.4 billion in frozen funds that was just transferred to the PA. In addition, the US is paying 100 mil NIS for the Pals' debt.

Why did we transfer the money? Here you go, we have given you a 500 million NIS charity cut, and the US has just paid 100 million for you, so that leaves 1.4 billion debt... exactly the amount we have been holding! Why not just apply this money to the bill and cancel out the debt?
