1. Can't we just admit retaking Gaza is the only solution?
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.06.16)
Can't everyone of us, who is rational, admit the root cause of ALL our Gaza problems is Israel's mad retreat from Gaza? Can't we all just admit we didn't have these problems until we fled Gaza?

Can't we just admit Israeli retreat is the root cause of virtually all Israel's worst problems?

Can't we just admit retaking Gaza forever is the only solution? Can't we just admit the obvious?
2. Well, Ron misses the other side of the coin
Steve Benassi ,   Minneapolis USA   (10.06.16)
It can be argued as logically that Israel can force Hamas to eliminate those radicals which goes against the radicals goals.

In addition to that Israel has the ability to strike the radicals directly.

The last observation is the wrong insinuation that Hamas is not radical but others are.

This is not a well thought out opinion.
3. Retaking Gaza is a dire option
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (10.07.16)
For years, ever since Israel left the strip in 2005, Hamas (and smaller terror organizations) is being prepared itself for military face offs with the Jewish state. It digs many tunnels, purchases weapons, increases its army and upgrades the combatants' proficiency through training. An Israeli effort to conquer the terrorists' enclave and fight enemy which uses its civilians as live shield, will result in heavy IDF casualties (could be by hundreds deaths) and thousands Palestinian civilians killed, as previous army operations there have taught us.

After the Hamas toppling, Israel will have to cope with sharp underground warfare and maintain a third-world economy.
4. The Assad way
Avi L.   (10.09.16)
Assad put back in the streets jihadists in order to be free to hammer down on anybody who opposed him.

If tomorrow some ISIS like takes over Gaza nobody will be able to say a word from Putin to the USA ...
5. To Moshe, Jerusalem
David ,   Arizona   (10.09.16)
Moshe,
Did the results/outcome of the 6 day war (1967) seem like a feasible possibility right before it started??
