no arab country has proven able to handle/change/affect much of Hamas or the Brotherhood's behavior towards moslems who disagree with them, let alone christians or jews. except purging their leadership regularly. for that matter no one can improve the PLO/Fatah Brotherhoodlums. So why continually talk as if something Israel does or doesnt can/would/should alter the gaza situation. this is perpetual nonsense. even Peter Pan AND Wendy knew better.
5. No need to starve
muz ,   Canada   (10.07.16)
Israel gave the Gaza to the so called palestinians. Since then, they have managed to continually fire missiles into the Country of Israel.
So the thought of Israel starving these people is not quite correct. Actually it is very incorrect. If the terrorists were not there and these people who are but invaders behaved themselves accordingly. they would not be hungry. In fact, they would be quite well off. But instead of being grateful of what Israel has given, they hare actually hate-ful. And now the pacifist feel Israel should give more. The US & the world believe Israel should give more. And the payback? It will be to divide Israel in half, divide the capital city of Israel (Jerusalem) to a people who refuse to recognize Israel and seek its destruction. Something is very awry with the world's thinking. Something is very diabolical.

I have read in the recent past some comments, editorials and news articles on Ynet which leave a lot to be desired but this travesty "takes the biscuit"...if you are not English and do not understand this expression well it means that the author of this article must have a few grey cells missing as it presupposes that Israel/Jews were the instigators of the Gazan tragedy rather than the recipients of the barrages and constant threats to istelf and citizens.
The fact is that the starvation and inconvenience referred to that is visited upon the Gazans is self perpetuated or at least by Hamas's desire to use the considerable funds constantly being used as we all know for its determination not to obtain freeedom and a better life for its Gazan population but to destroy its neighbour by any means possible.
To sum up an unulderated load of rubbish purporting to be a factual description of Gazans under siege....get real.

To ease the blockade on Gaza, should be sent for a while to one of the settlements near this strip (Shderot is a good option), and then we'll see if he still sticks to his guns.

Complete rubbish. What funds does Gaza get? Something like $350 million annually from the United States. If Israel is in the mood to deliver it on any particular day. While Israel has just signed a weapons deal with the United States, in which it is to receive US$38 billion over ten years. It's the biggest arms deal the United States has ever struck. It is on top of the $200 billion in constant dollar largesse, if that is the proper term, the US on Israel has bestowed, if that is the proper term. For F-16, white phosphorous, and all the rest of it, since the 1948 Nakba. Nor does this mention the dozens of UN resolution vetoes of the US decrying the illegal occupation, in votes of often 138-2 and the like. Nor does this mention the desperate history of the election of Hamas because of Fatah's impotence at relieving Israel's illegal occupation.

You have to admire the scale of the Zionist lies. Could Hitler witness them he'd be smiling. If you're going to lie go big. The larger the lie the more likely to be believed. The Zionist accuse the Palestinians of the very crimes they initiate and of which they are infinitely more guilty.

How do you refute the irrefutable? "Israel gave the Gaza to the so called Palestinians." Really? Where to start refuting such an atrocious lie?
