1. Yet more UN froth
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (10.07.16)
Just when oh when are these people in the UN going to realise that after 75 years the old worn out solutions WILL NOT and will NEVER WORK

They can potificate all they like about settlements, incitement, walls..

It all boils down to this

How can it be viable to have TWO Palestines in TWO SEPARATE lands with TWO SEPARATE ideologies and ultimatelty TWO SEPARATE negotiations with Israel?

It CANT and ISNT

And the answer is clear

The 1999 Plan first envisaged by Palestinians for ALL Palestinians

A Palestine in an expanded Gaza created from land exchanges with Israel for West Bank plus additional possible purchases of land from Egyptian Sinai

What these farts at the UN SHOULD be debating is the viability and the amazing potential of the plan and the support they and the international community would give it to enable us to build the new State - NOT going round and round in interminable circles GETTING ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE

Avi L.   (10.07.16)
Cyprus, Tibet, Darfour, Ukraine ... what of them?

No Jew to blame?

Turkey, China, Russia too big or too mean to blame?
5. time to stop settlement building and paying settlers to move
Phred ,   stratford, ct usa   (10.07.16)
One can ignore the UN as busy bodies but the continuing settlement building is causing strong bad feeling for many in the United States, including many Jews that I know, people that had always been supportive of Israel but wonder why this goes on no matter how the world views it
6. Useless Nations keep jabbering
C   (10.07.16)
the un, otherwise known as the useless nations, have a founding charter.
there is no clause in the charter which permits the un to create new states
or to determine unilaterally the borders of a sovereign state.
any statement passed by the unsc regarding israel is just a political
opinion.
obama cannot change the authorities of the un.
obama cannot override the clause which expressly states that all states have
equality under the un charter.
7. Phred ( Is that a real name?) If I may...
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (10.08.16)
"Causing bad feelings for many in the Untied States, including many Jews I know"
Maybe you need some new Jewish friends?
( as well as a newly contrived name?)
The ones you mention probably voted for Muslim obama and now regret it mightily.
Shame on them!
As far as the rest of the world, they did nothing to save one Jew that were included in the murdered six million dead European Jews.
KEEP ON BUILDING !!!!
