Yemen’s future can be secured, but only through an open and honest set of negotiations. These talks will not succeed if Iran continues to operate in the shadows. The Houthis need to make a critical choice: Will they legitimately seek peace and reconciliation with their fellow Yemenis or will they choose to continue to fight a war with no end at the expense of the future of Yemen?

Im sorry about all the dead wounded and suffering. But asking or allowing the UN to determine anything about it is a joke. Theyve proven consistently they cant or wont count accurately, they dont care about history, theyre committed to blindness re islam (religion culture people laws et al), and hate the west (except when sponging off it for salaries and comforts in NYC). let the UN practice counting up and revealing conditions for traffic tickets its members accumulate like xmas presents. even that's beyond their capacity let alone integrity.
