The Czechs no longer dominate the Slovaks. Serbia no longer dominates the other former Yugoslav regions. Agreed that these examples do not necessarily provide a template for Israel but the case for separation from the West Bank is overwhelming. In time, perhaps, a single state for all the peoples of Israel and Palestine but that surely is a long way off.

The biggest mistake Israel makes with "Palestinians" is pretending they aren't mortal foes. Despite the fact "Palestinians" do everything humanly possible to prove they are Israel's mortal foes. They terrorize, demonize, boycott, and harm Israel every way they possibly can, and as much as they possibly can. Yet still Israelis (not only leftists) pretend we can "talk peace" with them. That is mind blowing foolishness.

The only way Israel will ever enjoy peace is to deal with "Palestinians" they way the WW II Allies dealt with the Nazis and Imperial Japan. Total resounding victory. The Allies' victory brought permanent peace to most of Europe and Asia. Israel's resounding victory over "Palestinians" can also bring permanent peace. Just let stop propping up evil fictional "Palestine" and let it fall!
