China and India will continue to grow, at the expense of the Western world. No matter how many walls you build, or how many trade deals you abandon, this trend will continue. You can whine and complain about it as much as you want, but you can't stop it!

What this means for the Middle East??? Absolutely nothing!! Status quo is set to remain, and it would've been exactly the same with Hillary Clinton. So Israelis shouldn't pin too much hope on Trump, I think. In today's world, you can only trust yourself.

American's did.
Trump already sent shock waves by declaring his willingness to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem ( making any pal claim invalid as are they a 'supposed' people.) and thereby agreeing that Jerusalem is the undivided capitol of Israel
and also taking publicly that the Israeli 'settlements' are not impeding peace in the ME.
