Eli Oare, it is ludicrous to give the U.N. credit for creating Israel. Did the U.N. defeat the invading Arab armies when Israel declared independence in 1948? Of course not. In fact, the U.N. has almost always been hostile to Israel. Remember the infamous "Zionism is racism" resolution?

The obvious truth is that Israel was created through Jewish victory in 1948. Israel is sustained through Jewish victory. The U.N. has done nothing to help Israel, and will do nothing to help Israel in the future. Both Israel, and the Free World, would be far better off if the U.N. was defunded and allowed to collapse.

As far as international law is concerned; countless legal scholars including Eugene Rostow and his committee, who drafter U.N. Resolution 242, have proven Judea and Samaria legally belong to Israel.
