It's all too easy to rightly blame the French and Obama. The problem is that they are initiating a process to delegitimize Israel in front of international courts. It may lead , God forbid, to sanctions. The government of Israel should find a way to stop this process. It could, for example, announce a temporary cessation ( say for 6 months) of government sponsored expanding implantations on the condition that the Palestinians renew direct negotiations.Private building would not fall under that cessation but it should not be mentioned. It would allow Israel to gain time and show the world that it is the palestinians who are unwilling to have a peace agreement
