Too many Israeli politicians jump to the idea they can join the US type of government.

Two term maximum, four year term of office, appoint supreme court justices are all fine when you have checks&balances and Congress can follow individual ideas and not a party line. Senators and congressmen do not need to have a party backing them. All offices in the US can be filled by a write-in candidate.

An Israeli politician even thinks there are only 2 political parties in the US - there are many more.

Even a thing like housing, when an Israeli politician wants to implement housing protection rent control, they bring up the NYC rent control, seemingly without reading the law and to whom it applies.

My suggestion, stop trying to imitate or blindly support the US. Israeli politicians have a choice, either close off the internet access or become an independent country.
