Israelis and Palestinians living SIDE BY SIDE will learn to coexist economically, culturally, politically. They will learn to trust each other. The Middle East will become the most desired vacation spot for Europeans and others due to the excellent climate, resorts, emphasis on service. After some 50 - 100 years of living side by side and under leaders who will know coexistence since their birth, the national borders will no longer be needed. Armies will not be needed, there will no longer be conflicts. The Eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea will become "one state."

looking back at israeli leaders, other than a few, it has had very weak leaders who could be bullied. even the opposition of herzog livni and lapid talk the same submissiveness which is humiliating to a soeverign country.

Lets wait and see. Could be a catch 22 situation. Close is not great seeing the world wide reputation of President Trump and distant is also not great. Whatever the outcome, it will not harm Bibi's image, or whats left of it.

Israelis are confused about Trump, because hey don't read his speeches and books. Israel has to start reading Trump. Most of it's on the White House website. Some Israelis now think Trump is some type of Biblical figure. The Sanhedrin, no less, recently asked Trump to impose the Noahide laws (aka, Noachide, loosely, 'Noah's laws') world-wide! Gevalt! Trump can't do that!

Reading Trump, he will make win-win deals, as usual. With the PLO he will do what Trump's Middle East policy advisers have stated, months ago. To get US, funding, the PLO must meet certain conditions, and these will be reviewed quarterly. These will will involve basic things, like, no calling for Israel's destruction, no terrorist attacks, no anti-Israel rhetoric on TV and schools. etc. Common sense. It's a win-win deal, because the PLO gets their money, and Trump has fewer headaches.

For the rest, Israel will set her own destiny, she's been doing it for years. One-state, two-state, not Trump's business. Settlements, wherever. Trump wanted a temporary pause on building so he could get the deal with the PLO done. It would have given him another bargaining chip on the table. But if not, it's OK, he's got lots of chips.

The crisis part happens when Israel loses it's most dangerous enemies over the coming years, and then risks falling apart because of internal dissent!
