TOO DAMN TRUE ,Jews /Israelis are too often masochistic .Were we less masochistic ,the arab / israeli problem would have been resolved long ago...

3. This what being "Chosen People" gets you: mass-hysterical
(03.12.17)
belief in doing the "right thing", as if such animal existed (in politics/war/love). That's why we so diligently engage in something that rightfully could be described as "auto-sodomy" (often without lubricant)
4. Great article but the country needs

Shaked in black dress and heels to be saved.
5. Israeli masochism is all that keeps "Palestine" afloat
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.15.17)
Haetzni hit the nail right on the head. Israeli masochism is all that keeps the evil fiction of "Palestine" afloat. If Israel had a normal, self respecting government, the "Palestine" issue would not exist.

"Palestine" exists solely because Israel showers our mortal "Palestinians" foes with food, money, electricity, work permits, protection and other support. For a state to support its foes like this is masochism never before seen in human history.

Indeed,Israel really does need a kind of group psychoanalysis to explain the masochistic behavior, and the internalization of the false accusations of the antisemites by Jews in Israel and in the diaspora as well. I intend this comment as a serious proposal, not as sarcasm. In fact, an investigative team including psychoanalysts, sociologists, and pro-asrael political analysts is need to get to the bottom of what causes Jewish collective masochism. Such collective mental illness is rare among other ethnic-religious groups, although not totally unknown.
