no one disputes the depth and significance of religious study and prayer. Hoowver, to raise generations of submissive ultra intelligent nerds without self defense and vocational skills is a sin. unless you have physicall proof that god commanded this, then the curriculum should be changed. it is not the fault of the haredi but their rabbinic leaders. if all were like yishai or deri, there would be no state of israel.

the haredi have to go into the army or police or some learn some defense skill. haredi have to be molded into men, not victims attacked without response in paris, montreal and jerusalem. if not for the arabs forcing israeli to defedse itself, israel would be filled with pacifists like beilin herzog and yishai.
