1. What they are really saying by acting this way...

is that it's ok for non-Haredi boys to die for their country, but not their own boys. The founders of the state are cringing in their graves. Just one more reason why the state should stop funding these freeloaders.
2. For Shame!!

More police action required. Sorry that the soldier in this incident refused to press charges. Presumably he was thinking of his family that lives in the neighborhood...
3. the thing about harassing an IDF soldier

is that it is against the teachings God has taught us. It is not okay for Hesbollah to think that we, as descendants of the Israelites will or would do harm to their neighbor Syria, because of the interpretation of a few persons of the Biblical texts of a prophet. They should not ever be put in that position to think that would happen by us. There is a level of perversion/ profanity that "layers" itself upon the stories of tellers of events in the Syria area. To let other people think that our silence means we are actually doing those things which are hurting Syrians in an unholy way, without speaking up and saying 'that's not how we react or act in those situations when people are in danger' is to let a lie take power over a people. This harms them. That is not part of being a descendant of the House of Israel.

Not speaking up and speaking counter to a layer of perversion/ profanity covering a large situation such as Syrians and Damascus is in to protect ourselves, is not doing God's words. And a false presentation of prophecy can become deadly, because they are God's words. And people interpret them as so. So now then, we have to react to save Syrian lives. And we have to react in a holy way, because their situation calls for it, they are in a trap. We have to have it made available to them so they can know that we are working to help them and we are working to help them also in a supernatural way. It can appear difficult, but difficult isn't hard, it just means precisely providing what is holy to those in harm's way. The gathering of information to best ascertain what the risks to the Syrian people, the injuries, the threats of harm to them are is done well largely by IDF soldiers. Even if IDF soldiers never fire a weapon, it is the information and the information sharing that they provide, with the knowledge of the truth in context that is so priceless to those who want to help the Syrian people for example. I believe there are descendants of the House of Israel who would be willing to help every group of people in danger as Syrians are. But at the end of the day, we need the "witness" of the IDF soldiers who have gathered the evidence of what is going wrong to relay it to us in the context of the truth of the human suffering that we are seeing. The IDF is part of telling the public what is going on and what is the truth.
So religion aside in the orthodox- ultraorthodox debate, the IDF soldiers serve a purpose that helps people help vulnerable humans in a holy way- unfortunately, Jewish soldiers who have been brought up in the teachings of the Tanakh are the best resource for having critical information communicated to people helping people because of the context they communicate it in, that is the world we currently live in. And we may be living in that kind of world for awhile- so it is unholy for orthodox or ultraorthdox Jews to harrass IDF soldiers because they are doing tasks other people cannot do at this time. And people's lives depend on it, all over the world. We have to help the Syrian civilians and the best way to do that is to help them by way of the teachings God has taught us. And we have to keep helping them with the information and understanding that we have. To not love them is to not be us.How can it be that we could be at odds with them when we are talking about Genesis? Is it not our God that we worship that made the earth as we claim and the heavens, and all the provisions on it also? How can Syrians our neighbors experience the abundance God has made and does make, how can they believe a God made the earth and all these beautiful things if they do not have it where they live? I think we are bringing glory to God when we work to facilitate God's goodness being available to the people in a land outside Israel.
