Ethiopians are NOT the best israelis.But they're maybe among the most motivated to be FIRST Israelis, and then the best among them. As a "new oleh" since 1968, after 19 years "active reserve duty" in IDF, and with a son (miluimnik) and two grand'children in active duty I presume I could verify that.

God save that new recruit that has an Ethiopian Sargent- they are fu***ng overzealous. So says my grandson (a Golanchik). But in messy situations one can relay blindly on them-their pride does them do things for their soldiers like a few others can do.

Bottom line: Those integrated (mostly tru the army service) are 100% OK.
