what kind of stupid statement is that?

Hendel is correct, talking about the Holocaust is self inflicted torture which incapacitates. We cried enough for those who went without resisting, now let's talk endlessly about those who fought back and never gave up on building a better future for the living.

What the article is missing is that the writer shouldn't forget that the holocaust is a lesson to how far hatred can twist people. Sadly enough today that senseless hatred is present in many people against the state of Israel. The holocaust teaches us that we as the Jewish nation must always be strong ,alert and ready to face that senseless hatred.
By the way, one extraordinary man of ninety years i know as a friend and mentor went through the concentration camps and death march. He is an ardent supporter of the State of Israel not because of what he went through but because he sees miracles happening in Israel every day for the Jewish people foremost. And he is not that religious in daily practice. So spare us about the bullshit about going past the holocaust
