Had they not attacked Israel after partition, they would have had a state.
Had they not attacked Israel in '67, they would have had a state.
Had they not attacked Israel in '73, they would have had a state.
Had they not started the 1st intifada, they would have had a state.
Had they not started the 2nd intifada, they would have had a state.
Had they not supported and rewarded random terror, they'd have a state.
What does this tell us of Abbas and Arafat?
They NEVER wanted a state. They want the land of Israel.
Arafat said it might take 50 years to destroy Israel, but that he had time.
Until the Arabs can show, by their actions, total peace and quiet for 90 days, there is no reason why Israel should ease up on anything, considering it's been the Arabs who walk up to soldiers and students and mothers and stab them. No rewarding bad behavior. No more 'confidence building' measures that reward no change in Arab behavior.
It's way past the time for the Arabs to show some confidence building measures that might signal to Israel it is dealing with normal people, instead of jihadists who want ALL the land between the river and the sea.
Isn't it just amazing that the world expects Israel to make these goodwill gestures to the Arabs when the Arabs just attack and kill Israelis?
When ever some UN clown demands more Israeli 'goodwill gestures' towards the Arabs, it must also demand equal gestures from the Arabs.
For example: if international whiners demand 10 Israel roadblocks be taken down, then they must also demand 10 weeks of absolute calm from the Arabs. The moment the Arabs fail (and we know they will), the roadblocks go back up. Very simple. Both sides have to perform.
