I think that in the case of women who want to do certain mitzvot such as wearing tefillin or talit, they are confusing mitzvot with feminism and egalitarianism, but that can not deprive them of the right to carry their Judaism as they wish and yet with the right to do so in A public space, because the Kotel is a public space.
