3. Who`s wrong ?
Eisenfeld Michel ,   Ashkelon   (06.28.17)
Those contributing to the division of the Jewish people are those bending to the assimilation in the galut. They don`t want to face the challenge of keeping their identities and prefer to low the bar to "lite" instead.
This is the real problem .To be Jew is not difficult, or you born like that or you are so motivated that you convert. The dificulty is TO REMAIN JEW. And those people don`t do their job : education, mariages, ahavat Israel; and would like the others accept their passivity? They have and existential choice to do. DO IT.
4. Not to worry. The Jewish leaders in America lead nobody.
Jackieboy   (06.28.17)
They are only the ceremonial wing of the catering industry. When they leave conservative and reform temples, Jews remember nothing except the taste of the coleslaw, and that's OK. They know that Israel is not against them despite the incitement of the rabbitinate.
5. Time for Jews around the world to say no
Mark Jeffery Koch   (06.28.17)
If Israel wants to tell millions of Jews around the world that they are not Jewish enough, fine. I hope and pray that these Jews don't visit Israel, don't contribute to any Israeli charity, and stop lobbying their governments to support Israel. Without support from the diaspora Israel would be just another third world country and it's time that Jews stop allowing themselves to be denigrated and belittled and made to feel unwelcome by a chosen few. Let's see how long the Israeli economy and government can survive without the unwavering support it has enjoyed since 1948 from the diaspora.

Lazerbenabba ,   London, England   (06.29.17)
Whether we like it or not, non-Orthodox Jews are our brethren ...the Chutzpah of this writer is beyond belief.
How dare this rabbi take it upon himself to judge and condescend to state that the non orthodox or even the down right secular are "our brethren".
A Jew is a Jew is a Jew....how very accepting of him.
In the UK this would be described as a monumental cheek to take it upon himself to make this judgement but then again what else does one expect from the bigotry of the religious hierachy.
11. How condescending, judgemtal and patronizing
Avi L.   (06.30.17)
The likes of him prefer discuss divinity with those who want to kill or enslave us like the iranian mollahs rather than with the ones who actually defend him from other fanatics

What a smok
12. As a so called " secular " Jew I think that these movements
olim hadashim ,   Tel Aviv   (06.30.17)
like Reform etc. may be more dangerous to the Jewish people in the future than the Iran atom bomb.
13. All come from a loveJudaism however ’much or little’ practic
As lbie   (06.30.17)
Presumably all come from the standpoint that all come to this discussion from a love of Judaism if they come at in different ways
