1. Israel's should present a twofold response
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv   (07.08.17)
1) Israel should present to the world all archaeological and historical facts to prove that we Jews are indeed the historical, ancient, native and original population of the land of Israel, that we have indeed inhabited the land of Israel for 4000 years, and that at least 10-15 ancient civilizations make direct references to ancient Jews/Israelites/Hebrews, the ancient Jewish kingdoms of Israel and Judah and references to our ancient kings, dynasties and cities, mentioned in the respective ancient civilizations' historical records.

Israel should also present evidence that Jews purchased the land of Israel in ancient times (Biblical times) and modern times respectively (19th century modern Zionism and the return of the Jewish diaspora to Israel).

Israel should also present LEGAL evidence that Cis-Jordan and Trans-Jordan are both the intended LEGAL territory for the Jewish nation state and the Jewish national homeland, and that the legally binding San Remo treaty and the equally legally binding Anglo-American treaty, both stipulate that the legal territory of the Jewish national homeland is indeed Cis-Jordan and Trans-Jordan.

2) If Israel truly means it when it says that "this is our ancient homeland", then I suggest Netanyahu and his government conduct a policy which truly reflects that Israel is our ancient and modern homeland and that no foreign power may may infringe upon our legitimate right to claim 100% of our intended legal homeland.

Thus, Israel should annex Judea, Samaria and Gaza, and expel the Arabs of Judea, Samaria and Gaza to Jordan and Egypt respectively, and force Jordan and Egypt to receive them, otherwise Israel will withdraw from the "peace treaties".

Israel's immediate response to UNESCO and the UN would be to immediately expel the foreign Arab settlers and colonialist of Hebron to another designated location in Judea and Samaria, and declare that Hebron will not be integrated into a "Palestinian" state, and will instead be regarded by Israel as annexed Israeli territory governed by Israeli law.

If UNESCO and the UN and the "Palestinians" declare war on us and our history at the UN, Israel should change the reality on the ground and annex and claim the very geographical locations they claim "aren't ours".

We Jews need to make up our minds. Either Israel is our ancient homeland or it's not. Either we have legal rights to Israel or we don't.

Our policies must be consistent and bold.
2. Judaism existed wellover 1000 years before birth of Mohammed
C   (07.08.17)
the so called arab palestinians have existed for only fifty four years.
the lies of the arab palestinians are self evident.
3. UNESCO you have failed the IQ test
Cushi ,   Brisbane   (07.09.17)
UNESCO you have failed the IQ test

Wrong it's not the Tomb of the Patriarchs but Ma'arat haMachpelah. In Hebrow; Ma'arat-cave of, and haMachpelah-multiplication, double. Therefor it is not the Tomb of the Patriarchs but the cave of the Patriarchs AND THE MATRIARCHS of the Jewish people, we do not discriminate against our mothers, it is the world's most ancient Jewish site and the second holiest place for the Jewish people, after Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The cave and the adjoining field were purchased by Abraham some 3700 years ago, 2400 years before the advent of Islam (or Balestinian people "sorry" Palestinian people)

The structure over the cave was built by Herod, King of Judea more then 2000 years ago.
(The structure is divided into three rooms: Ohel Avraham, Ohel Yitzhak, and Ohel Ya'akov.)

700 years ago, the Muslim declared the structure a mosque and Jews were not allowed past the seventh step on a staircase outside the building.

Presently many restrictions are imposed on Jewish prayers and customs at the Ma'arat haMachpelah despite the site's significance in Jewish heritage and history Jews have no access to Ohel Yitzhak, the largest room, with the exception of 10 days a year.

And here comes UNESCO with a Palestinian's hard one - UNESCO you can seat and dwell on that hard one from now to kingdoms comes for nothing will come out of it.
4. UNESCO does what is Right Thing to do.
Z.Latz ,   israel   (07.09.17)
israeli gov. forgets intentionally, how many places in israel uNESCO designated as cultural and historic heritage.Tel Aviv as a white city is just one example.
Bauhaus architecture is another example. There are at least 30 more.
Hebron is in the WestBank, and therefore it belongs to Palestinian People, and therefore UNESCO decision is The Right one. Period.
Israel has chosen to control other people since June 1967. It is called Apartheid Regime. Israel did NOT annex West Bank, therefore Hebron IS NOT an israeli city. On the other hand, if israel would have annexed the westbank immediately following 1967 war, then Hebron would have been an israeli city, together with all of westbank. mistake happens...Now is the time to pay.
