Israel sought bids for ships. The ships offered were considerably different in size and features. Someone was tasked with the job of evaluating apples & oranges. A choice was eventually made based upon features and cost. The lowest price is not always the best purchase, just as the highest price is not always the best product.
Now, critics have decided to make a media circus of the process of evaluation and selection. Why ....... because they want to discredit the existing government which they are not a part of. If they cannot run the country by winning elections they bombard the winner with negativity.
If there were improprieties in the selection process they will be uncovered in the investigation which is underway. Until the investigation is completed it is idiotic for the media and grandstanders to draw conclusions and make accusations. The daily stream of negativity is absurd.
