2. Protecting cultural norms vs. protecting children?

Quoting the article," In the three years since the teacher was indicted, the family was humiliated, boycotted and excommunicated by their community, with rabbis repeatedly choosing to defend and stand by the teacher."
Absolutely evil and disgusting! What is wrong with these rabbis? Why is it more important to protect their cultural norms that it is to protect their children? How can they possibly atone for this sin on Yom Kippur?

them into pedophiles for revenge which is probably what happened to the attacker. The recidivism rate of pedophiles is almost 100% which means haShem rejects them for His kingdom since He will not change them. How to keep the boys from becoming pedophiles I do not know. Only haShem can do that but unless the boys allow haShem to heal their souls from the attacks, they too will go to hell with the predator as they become predators themselves in revenge of the attack on them.
