2. No to Turkey!
Peter van Schie ,   Spijkenisse   (07.29.17)
I went to Turkey as well. Up until 2006 when anti-semitic
cartoons on the front pages of newspapers drew my attention.
I live in Holland and even Dutch-Turkish journalists who criticised
Erdogan don't go there anymore out of fear of being thrown
into jail there.
Even here in Holland they're not safe from Turks who side with Erdogan.
I'd rather spend my vacation in Israel!

There are plenty of nice ,interesting places for israelis to travel to ,there is no need to give your money to those who hate you.
5. A TERRIFIC ARTICLE
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED HONESTY   (07.29.17)
Dear Mr Sadeh , thank you for this honest and thought-provoking article. I have no doubts that Turkish resorts are beautiful and good value for money but at what price ? I do not understand why one should enrich those who hate us. I would never travel to Turkey as long as President Erdogan is in power because he hates the jewish state. Turks can go whistle and there are thousands of lovely alternative resorts to visit. And as for these turkish resprts being cheap ." WHAT'S CHEAP IS DEAR ."
6. THE TURKEY CONNECTION
MR CYNIC ,   SAFED CYNIC HOUSE   (07.29.17)
Israelis voting to vacation in Turkey is like Turkeys voting for xmas.
7. Good question, but why would my own PM remove security
(07.29.17)
measures from our own Capital (AFTER said maniacal Erdogan demanded it as well)?!!? So many completely logical questions wit just as many insane answers....
8. Completely agree - do not travel to Turkey
barbara ,   Haifa   (07.29.17)
Even if I received free all expense paid trip to Turkey - I would not go.
9. I myself have never traveled to Turkey. However,
Israela ,   Israel   (07.29.17)
Since we Israelis live in a country that spits in our faces regularly; I can understand why so many of my countrymen need to vacation in Turkey. It is the land of all included...right down to the way its leader spits in our face! Soo comforting to be reminded of home and the way our leader treats us!
10. Well, I live in Israel 45 years and I've learned one thing.
Yossi ,   Israel   (07.29.17)
A substantial holiday at Turkeys' price, you can't find here where I live.
11. Because Unscrupulous Travel Agents & Media Tell them its ok
Anything4Money ,   Jerusalem Israel   (07.29.17)
There are always the naïve who believe what the Corrupt Media
tells them we have seen over and over on the news how
"Israelis are beginning to flock back to Turkey with its all
inclusive hotel plans" We are shown usually Secular Tel
Avivians with their children telling us how wonderful it is
there how friendly. Forgetting the same Secular Tel Avivians
that were hunted down in the streets of Istanbul and slaughtered
no you dont remember because the Media wants you to
have amnesia Selling other Jews for money is repulsive
endangering whole families for money is repulsive makes
you wonder why we created a Jewish State. A Jew with
minimal sense of self respect and Jewish pride would not
even think to go there not to mention simple common sense!
Shame on Jews who sell their fellow Jews a death sentence

13. dont be jealous
cindy ,   sydney   (07.30.17)
I would never visit a country who hates me. I had a bad experience once as a young lady when my plane had to land in Iran (Persia) and we all got off the plane for a short break. The Officer dropped my passport on purpose and I had to pick it up and hand it back to him. He took my passport and went into the office area. The plane was about to leave and I had not received my passport and I panicked and a young Jerusalem guy came to me and asked what was wrong. I told him about my passport and he went into the office and brought it back. Relieved I left Persia. Never again!
14. Import/Export
Serge ,   Antwerp   (07.30.17)
Israel/Turkey business, both ways have been on a all time high. Even with Erdogan.
15. You get what you pay for. Lie with dogs, get flees.
Incredulous   (07.30.17)
Cheap or not, money is often the determining factor where one vacations (especially for Israelis as they always want the most for the least). Turkey mastered the art of enticement with its all inclusive resorts. It would behoove all Israelis to stay as far away from this rats nest as they can lest they want to end up as a news headline a la Burgas. Turkey has proven time and again that it is no place for Israelis in particular and Jews in general.
16. Because Only Rich Jews From The Diaspora Can Afford Israel
World Citizen ,   the world   (07.31.17)
High prices for hotel food and service keep Israelis going to Turkey and other sunny locales. Add that to surly hotel staff and it's easy to figure out. And why are the staff surly? Because Israelis are lousy tippers. Cheapskates.
