The police investigators and the attorney general are supposed to act independently of political pressures. So it is a disgrace that demonstrations are held demanding indictments. A demonstration demanding an investigation of allegations that the justice system ignores is legitimate; when an investigation is in progress, a demonstration demanding indictments is utterly illegitimate. But that does not bother Barnea at all; he glorifies their illegitimate activity because it serves his purpose.

The biggest difference between the leftist and rightist demonstrations is that the leftist demonstration represents a tiny radical minority of Israelis, who have no chance of winning a national election. The rightist demonstration represents the heart and soul of Israel.
