The Palestinians say "they are seeking a freeze in Israeli construction in the disputed territory of the West Bank and a US endorsement of Palestinian independence as part of a "two-state solution" with Israel." This is not the right way to start off good faith negotiations. What are they willing to give in exchange for their demands? What are they willing to give for Israel leaving the land that they want for a state? The only thing that comes to mind is the "Temple". No Israeli would refuse such a gesture!! If that was on the table I think a deal would be done quickly. If that isn't in the offering then I think that these negotiations are going nowhere. A better solution would be to negotiate a new constitution for the state of Israel and "The One State solution"
Abbas needs to explain to Kushner: a. Why Arabs continue to murder Jews in their homes and Synagogues b. Why Jews are not allowed to pray on the Temple Mount c. Why Arabs can buy apartments in NY but Jews cannot buy apartments in Ramalla d. Why he continues to incite violence against Jews and Israel e. Why he pays for murders and rewards murderers with stipends for life. f. Why he will only negotiate if all his conditions are met first
The Palestinians are waiting for nothing but handouts. They have no intention of settling on any matters, yet would accept US money to consider proposals. I hope President Trump holds his position that this matter needs to be settled by Israel and the PA, and the US will observe with interest.
