shiffer is usually wrong about everything.he may have a point in saying that bibi ran to putin and trump to get them to do something for israel whicch they will not. russian has the old soviet interests, and trump could care less so he says go to putin and don't bother me.

bibi who is a student of israeli history, then becomes paralysed. he simply cannot visualize what to do-israel can remove iran and hezbollah from the golan it is wanted to. bibi cannot pull the trigger on such action. why not- maybe the trauma of his being shot twice as a commando. who knows. what it amounts to is he simply lack the nerve to undertake such action. this is why he continually runs to big brother to please solve israel's problems. he is not prepared to do it on his own.

The threat from Iran is real and Israel will always need protection from big powers. It is necessary for Israel to be friendly with the US and Russia; the more friends the better. The occupation of land is an illusion of security while alliances are much stronger guarantees.

Neither Putin nor Trump has Israel's interests at first place, but their own.
Same goes for Netanyahu.

Then there will be some middle of the road consensus/solution.

The U.S. And Russia are not at war in Syria. Muslims are killing Muslims in Syria, and they won't abide by the aforementioned agreement. Its interesting that Shiffer is worried about Iranian soldiers in the Golan. Watch him change his tune if Iranians occupy the Golan and Israel pounds the snot out of them.
