yes, they do. They ride or drive in cars that are owned and operated by the State of Israel.
If the government ministers, members of Knesset and other civil servants can ride or drive on the Holy Sabbath, then why can't we poor and lowly citizens take a bus?

It has never been decided which is the seventh day, so I picked mine on Wednesday. Go ahead, pick yours on any day that is convenient. Let the state tell us there is Saturday for resting and I will have two days, Saturday and Wednesday, and Friday also. What a great country Israel is, where everybody works part time only.

People can't go to the beach , visit family . It's easy for people living abroad to support this closure of public transportation on shabbat
5. Where in Torah did Moshe Rabeinu say no buses on Saturday.
