You are obviously orthodox. After 56 years in Israel, and the last 25 years as a member of a Conservative shul here I have learnt that the Reform and Conservative movements in Israel are treated like dirt by the orthodox establishment. The only way to get Israel's government to relate to our needs is to squeeze them where it hurts.
