It doesn't seem to discuss the magnitude of the situation around the verse D'midbar 6:27, to barely mention the acts the Nazis did in tattooing Jewish prisoners in WWII, or to barely mention the intentions of those acts in discussions of the acts of Nazis in the Holocaust. This is but a mere percentage of the evil done to people who should not ever have been harmed or killed. Many acts by many different groups of people have been done to attempt to "punish" Jewish people for non-Jewish people's perceptions of this verse.

What really needs to be said, in addition to the alert to the actions of the people who are trying to hurt Jewish people is that no person should be threatened to be harmed, or harmed because of a verse in a book, whether it's in the Bible or elsewhere. Let me re-phrase: no person should be killed for a verse in the Jewish bible. That is what should be said every time we detail what violent people are intending to do it people. And to complete the discussion of the magnitude with what is wrong for people to be killing Jews, plotting to kill Jews, or killing or plotting to kill a person because the killer decides in their mind to murder, no one should be killed. That is the real truth, the truth around the plotting to kill people in relation to a Bible verse, the truth around a group of violent people plotting to kill another group of people, and that is that no person should be killed and we all should be alert and on the 'look- out' for any person in danger of being targeted to be killed by violent people. Let's say the whole story when we say it, lest someone reading think they only have to worry about Hezbollah doing bad, or Nazis doing bad or terrorists doing bad- it shouldn't happen to any group of people, anywhere on the earth any day of any year.

Of Course IDF can win.

It all depends on the restrains imposed upon it by politicians worried more by they daily popularity, by our "special friend" Putin who could have his own goals and let's not forget by our "special friend" Donald who could do anything on a whim, not being hindered by any plan or goal excepted his "flair for a good deal" and inflated ego.

But it's not so much if the Army can win, it's how many civilian casualties it will cost.
And even once Hezballah is smashed, it will be able to claim victory for having brought the fight on our home front and for having bloodied our people and having hit our infrastructures.

Because only a dreamer can imagine that it's possible to stop thousands or tens of thousands of missiles per day.

For many reasons, it's not Lebanon who will have to pay the price but Iran.

Destroying Lebanon, who is being held hostage by the shia axis, won't solve anything and will only bring more bad press on Israel, more diplomatic and economical retaliations.

I don't think another "Entebbe" action is ever possible with the mindset of both our politicians AND the population...
