reality: due to the Executive branch authority constructs that have evolved since 1945, there are virtually no legal or administrative restraints between a US Pres and the nuclear button. If the Pres gives an order to launch, US forces are obligated, under law, to carry it out.
Needless to say this is an EXTREMELY dangerous arrangement - now highlighted by an unstable individual in the White House.
If we're able to survive the current craziness, this flaw in the US system should be corrected ASAP by Congress or Constitutional amendment!
The fate of the planet should NEVER be in jeopardy or left to the whims of any single individual !

trump has many achievements in business and politics. he went to the
wharton school and established numerous businesses. he is a billionaire
with accomplished children.
rex tillerson is a successful civil engineer who rose in the ranks of a exxon,
a top us company.he was a leader in the boy scotts.
neither of these two men is a genius, but they are both brilliant.
what counts now is that trump is president of the united states,
a role that he achieved by himself. he is what is often referred
to as the decider.
