beilin, formerly meretz has long since been rejected by mainstream israelis as a no nothing ph.d. disconnected fool. he now reiterates that settlements should remain in new palestine. really?? the law says israel has as much right to the land as anyone else. rabin erred dramaticaly when he hitched his wagon to peres and beillin.settlements can only be soverign israeli or if not, maybe better in the republic of judea which more and more should be considered/ in fact eventually,a confederation of judea and israel can be had.
