Been years since I've been in Catalonia but these people are surely as Lefty as the Spanish and for an observer of such matters.. the two biggest surprises to come out of this are 1. Spain had the balls to crush the succession 2. The lefties in Catalonia had no clue that the EU/US/ECB/et al would not let this happen. Utopian idealism is great... until you touch the money. DO NOT TOUCH THE MONEY!!!
