Let us assume though that Iran was willing to make peace which they do not want to do there is no way it would be an unconditional peace as a result of so what are they going to demand from Israel?
Almost certainly Israel must give up its nukes & Iran will probably want the Golan returned to their ally Assad strengthen his image on the streets.

Egypt made peace because they were militarily inferior to Israel and they wanted Sinai back, so they tried the peace tactic.
King Hussain always wanted peace but the problem was the majority of Jordanians were descended of Pals so he couldn't risk a deal without oslo.

Iran are not worried about Israel militarily & we have no land of theirs so why make peace especially considering that they would be expected to make concessions as well as Israel.

There are no borders with Israel so they are not that worried, they have hundreds more missiles than Israel has defenses and israel has a fraction of the number of offensive missiles Iran does so short of nuclear Iran easily has the advantage in a war with Israel.
We have not captured any territory from them they want returned and they know if we were going to make peace we would expect a few concessions from them so why would they want to give up their advantage?

What price would we have to pay for peace, give up nuclear deterrent, give the Golan to Irans ally Assad help boost his popularity on the streets?
The arabs made peace because they needed to for their own interests, Iran doesn't need peace with Israel so whats their motive gong to be?
